At RA NA Standing Committees Draft Law on RA State Budget for 2018 Continue Debating

On November 3, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and on Financial-Credit Budgetary Affairs moderated by Armen Ashotyan and Gagik Minasyan the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018 was debated. The RA NA deputies, the RA Ministers and those responsible for the sphere took part in the debate.

First, the RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the financial indices to be allocated to the spheres; afterwards the RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan and the RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan presented the programmes and the prior directions to be implemented by their ministries.

On the same day at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security and on Financial-Credit Budgetary Affairs moderated by Koryun Nahapetyan and Gagik Minasyan debated the revenues and expenditures to be allocated by the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018 to the RA Police, the RA National Security Service and the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan introduced the budgetary means to be allocated to the relevant spheres in the coming year, and those responsible for the appropriate spheres – the RA Minister of Emergency Situations Davit Tonoyan, the Deputy Head of the Police adjunct to the RA Government Vardan Yeghizaryan and the Deputy Director of the National Security Service adjunct to the RA Government Aram Hakobyan – touched upon the budgetary policy priorities, the reforms to be envisaged and the expected results, as well as the planned draft laws.

At the second joint sitting of the Committees the debates related to the revenues and expenditure indices of the Ministry of Defense and state reserves. The sitting was held behind the closed doors.
